Friday 24th at 6:30 pm at the UCCU Center in Orem will be the biggest show that Utah has seen, Showdown’s “Breakout.” This card is going to be action packed from the first punch thrown till the bitter end. Some of the biggest names in Utah Mixed Martial Arts will be participating in this event. One of these names is former BYU football player, Jan Jorgenson will finally be putting a bitter rivalry to bed with Aaron Magro.
These two were suppose to meet at a previous event but do to circumstances the fight did not come to fruition. Now with less than a week out, there seems to be no roadblocks holding these two back from squaring off in the Showdown cage. Magro is angered about the first fight never happening and has vocalized it many times saying, “people thought I was talking a lot of smack but I was just telling the truth…Jan never apologized to me or my family and friends who came to see the fight.” While Jan is usually known to be calm and very respectful, now seems to have a glimmer in his eye that shows this fight is a little more personal simply stating, “I am excited to get in there and stop the talking.”
